"Kill the Wolf"
An experimental, theatrical-musical short film that reimagines a classical fairytale motif through a poetic and symbolic lens.
The story follows a man destined to kill a wolf — a narrative rooted in archetypal myth. Yet, the wolf subverts expectation: instead of embodying danger, it longs to become human, to see the world through human eyes, and to create cinema as an act of existence.
The man, in turn, resists his role. He does not want to kill — but remains bound by the logic of the story, where identities are fixed and roles are imposed.
Blending elements of stage performance, indie game aesthetics, and surreal storytelling, the film constructs a self-aware narrative universe where life unfolds as a scripted game — one in which each character is assigned a role they cannot easily escape.
🎬 Short Synopsis
A man must kill a wolf — it is the rule of the story.
But the wolf does not want to be a beast. It dreams of becoming human, of seeing and creating the world through cinema.
Caught between duty and empathy, the man hesitates, while the narrative itself pushes him forward.
Told through an experimental, theatrical-musical form with echoes of indie game aesthetics, the film becomes a metaphor for unrequited love — the fragile and impossible connection between a heterosexual man and a man who loves him.
A story about roles, desire, and the quiet tragedy of being written into a life that does not belong to you.
